Reframing Food Sovereignty
How elegant environments can help reframe urgent ecological issues for broader, more influential audiences.
We had the privilege of experiencing a truly exceptional event at the iconic Marbella Club Hotel, held amidst their serene orchard -Finca Ana Maria- nestled between the majestic La Concha and the shimmering Mediterranean Sea.
Under a flawless blue sky and among inspiring company, we were treated to a symphony of vibrant, vegetable-based dishes—each crafted with nuance, texture, and flavor—paired with exquisite wines curated by their sommelier. The setting was luxurious yet deeply connected to the earth, perfectly embodying our Back to la Tierra philosophy.
But beyond the beauty, this event served a deeper purpose: bringing the conversation around food sovereignty into new spaces and broader circles. To shift the narrative, we must move beyond the expected. Events like these—where style meets substance—create the kind of aspirational experiences that engage those who might not otherwise join the conversation.
Huge admiration and thanks to Fundación Arboretum for uniting people and organizations in truly meaningful ways. Thank you to Quinta Paisana for always being at the forefront of connecting people and subtly yet with a true passion introducing the importance of the soil to the Golden Mile.
Your work is a source of true inspiration.
And to everyone who helped make this day possible—thank you!
